I was so wonderfully blessed of God through fasting and prayer that I cannot help but share my experience with you. I had joined a mutual loan club with some other ladies. This proved to be a bad investment and I lost all of my property including our house. In addition to that I incurred a debt of $20,000. Finally our entire family had to move into a small room renting for only $10.00 a month.

TESTIMONY

When I graduated from Bible school and began my ministry, you encouraged me to seek the power of the Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer. So, beginning January I, 1974, I decided to fast for ten days. Before this time I had fasted for one or two days, but this was the first fast of any length I had attempted. On other fasting occasions after three days my strength would be gone, but God gave me special strength during this fast, and I was able to minister regularly in the chapel at the prayer mountain.

I would like to encourage my new family on fasting….It has really worked for.I have fasted for 2 times and currently am on my third fast just for 3 days.God has answered my prayer requests one was for 3 days and the other was for 14 days the one am currently on is for 3 days and i am still believing God.Thank you for all the information on how to sustain yourself during fasting….I always have one meal in day.But am looking forward to a time when i will fast only on water en juice……..next year 21 days of fasting…To God be the glory……..he has done it for me and i kno
