God enjoins us to pray. To pray, and believe that God is going to answer. That we are going to get a result. God has told us that we are stewards of our time. If prayer was a waste of time, God would never tell us to pray without ceasing.

In my view John Wesley was the greatest and most effective servant of God since the apostle Paul, and his impact has probably not been equalled since. Here is an article which was posted on Andrew Strom's revival list about this man.
In a comment on another page, I wrote:
"Do you know that the revivalists of the past who transformed nations, like John Wesley, and Charles Finney, believed that one should preach 90% law, and 10% grace?"
From "Catch the Glorious Fire" by Ps Paul Quadros
2. LIVING
Impossible to Possible
The Lord Jesus was about to return to heaven. He knew He was leaving behind an unsaved world, nation upon nation that had not heard the gospel. Hugely different people with many different ways of thinking; a world full of problems and evil. Jesus had to hand over the responsibility of proclaiming the gospel to this world.
I tell you for the glory of God. I have been in full-time ministry for the past 13 years, with not one single failure during my crusades. I can honestly say I have never returned from a mission and had to admit: “1 failed there; because it was a hard place.” Do you know why? It’s because I know that God is with me. Roman 8:31 (b) says:
“…If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Why do we get discouraged?
Revival in a small coastal town in Australia
The following article is an account of a revival that was reported in Outreach Magazine when Pastor Peter Earle, the Principal of the School of Ministries led a bible college team to Yeppoon. (Editor’s note: It is true that this story is now 10 years old. Still it is very encouraging and can inspire us to believe for God to do such great things again in Australia.)
