On Friday, the Lord delivered me from a demonic spirit (I believe it was a spirit of infirmity) during a prayer meeting. The day before the prayer meeting, I told him I was tired of being oppressed by the devil and that I wanted to be well. Then on Friday after dinner, before the prayer meeting, He gave me a dream/vision of one of the ladies at our prayer meeting praying deliverance for me. So I called her and asked her if they could pray for me after praise and worship. It had started manifesting when she was prophesying, but then kind of got “stuck” I cant think of a better word than that.

Before Deliverance
For most of my life I have been very confused and did not know who I was, what I was and where I belonged. I was so hopeless to the point of suicide at times even after becoming a Christian. I always thought every one disliked me, was out to get me or didn’t care about me.
My Celebration of Deliverance
Family of Origin:
I came from a multi-generational high-level bloodline occult family. I was purposely conceived and birthed for mind control, torture and ritual purposes. My family’s background includes high level Masonic members and connections. I have three half sisters and one half brother. My mother and surrogate father were extreme alcoholics. Chaos was the norm. I was singled out as the scapegoat for abuse by all members of the family.
Not everything relevant to the subject of deliverance and spiritual warfare is included on a site such as this. In my view some deliverance ministries are unbalanced and make extreme statements which are not totally true. The truth is extreme enough anyway without making universal statements with no clear foundation in Scripture. Anyway, here are the titles of some books and authors I can recommend on the subject of deliverance.
1. Christian, Set Yourself Free – by Graham Powell.
Unbelief is a spirit which causes people to reject what God says is true. The more we can get unbelief concerning God’s promises out of our own hearts, the more we will be effective in destroying it in those who do not yet believe. Unbelief binds the hand of God. It is one of the worst enemies to deal with.
“… for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Paul and his close co-workers made it their business not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices. This does not mean that Paul spent a lot of time researching all the dark secrets of Satan’s kingdom. No. Paul said to the Romans, “I want you to be wise in what is good, but simple (innocent) concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:19). Honestly, we don’t need to be “au fait” with all the latest conspiracy theories and what Satan may or may not be doing (Isaiah 8:12,13).
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Real Christians are involved in a spiritual conflict. This is a fight in which guns and tanks are of no use. Paul said, “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood”. The conflict is not with people, or nations, but with Satan and his demons. We need to recognise that many times when people oppose us, the reason behind it is spiritual.
“We know that we are in God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”

Prayer – is communication with God. The key to prayer is hearing God and also being heard by God. God won't listen if we are not sincere. We need to believe that he rewards those who seek Him. And we need to give ourselves fully to Him if we want to be sure of getting answers.
