My name is Vachiravan Vanlaeiad. I was
born in Bangkok, Thailand. My grandmother was Thai and my
grandfather Chinese. My parents were separated and finally divorced
when I was an infant (according to my late grandmother, my mother
left me in a room, alone and unattended as a vengeance to my father
because he was extremely abusive and very cruel to her). However, I
was rescued by my grandmother, and was raised up and nurtured by her
in a very loving plus extra-highly protective way. I was the apple

I remember when I turned 14. The world
didn’t make sense to me and I felt so alone and scared, like I
didn’t fit. Being a teenager, I was made to believe it was normal
for the insecurities which I felt. I now look back and see that this
was a point in time where God was calling me. I didn’t recognize
Him. He would have saved me from going through all I was going to go
through but I didn’t run to Him, I ran from Him a lot of the time-
getting myself deeper into trouble and further away from Him.

Jesus Healed Me

I would like to take this time to give Jesus all the praise and glory for his faithfulness. In 2006 I went to the doctor because I was having pains in my upper back. X-rays were taken of my entire back and the doctor told me that I had a lot of degeneration for a person my age; I was 40 years old. I suffered from poor posture all my life and had given birth to six kids at the time of this diagnosis. Because my spine was so messed up; it was very uncomfortable when I tried to sit or walk upright.
