The Word of God – mass exposure will lead to massive results

I was praying one morning in my house in Bombay. At that time we have just started a 24/7 TV channel reaching around 10% or less of Bombay. But we seemed to have exausted the finances and we were quite concerned about it.

I felt God speak to me about the urgency of the task, that people MUST be saved, and therefore, we MUST win the battles to spread God’s message over the city, because there is too much at stake! I felt God’s intensity and urgency about it.

My reply to that, apart from been overwhelmed by God’s intense desire to see these people saved, I told God that we need money for this and is He going to provide? (in a respectful way) He then spoke to me through Isaiah 41: 17 – 20.

This revelation applied to people overall in a city, but it can also apply to individuals who expose themselves regularly to the Word of God. He answered to my cry of how do we reach the city with this:

Isa 41:17 “The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the LORD, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

God spoke to me that those in the city who are not saved are actually hungry for God and they are seeking living water, but because they do not know where it’s best to seek it, they seek it in all the wrong places and do not find any true living water that satisfies. God sees them as people who fail for thirst – what a description of desperation -; we do not always see them like God sees them or we would be more urgent about helping them know Jesus!

God’s deep compassion is answering this failing for thirst of the unbelievers and is coming in with a solution: I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. He will do something about it. But what will He do to actually hear them in a practical way? See below:

Isa 41:18 I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water.

God told me that people need to first hear about the Gospel, and one major point of contact is TV, this way they can hear about a different place where they can try to seek for water, to the living God.

He said that He will use Christian TV programs as rivers in the desolate heights where the Word of God has not watered the hearts of men much or at all before; the programs will each be like a river that is falling over the thirsty hearts of unbelievers, and it is softening the ground.

The more of the Word of God is sprinkled (poured) over the city, more softening of the ground will happen and the desolate ground will gain moisture till it becomes a pool of water, fountains and springs and rivers – in other words it will lead to people’s salvation.

Isa 41:19 I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, The myrtle and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine And the box tree together,

Prosperity in the hearts of men and in their lives will follow as a result of the presence of the Word of God in their hearts.

Isa 41:20 That they may see and know, And consider and understand together, That the hand of the LORD has done this, And the Holy One of Israel has created it.

The main purpose of this is that people will know God, and thus have eternal life and a personal relationship with Him.

So what I understood from this passage that day is that God wants us to water the city in mass through mass-media(the wilderness with living water and knowledge of God) with the Word of God.

The Gospel itself IS the power of God for salvation, so by sending the Gospel (the Word of God about the Gospel) we are sending the power of God to work salvation in people’s lives. And by sending the Word of God generally, we are sending the living water to thirsty hearts.

By continual 24/7 Christian TV or mass-media, we are actually saturating the ground in the city (the hearts of men) with the Word of God and any saturation with the Word of God will lead to eternal results of souls saved and people trained for eternity, because the Word of God will never return void, but it will do what it was sent by God to do.

The Bible says: ‘He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.’ 2 Corinthians 9:6 . If we want to reap bountifully, we need to sow the Word of God bountifully, or we cannot expect a bountiful harvest. If we want to reach cities for God, we need to sow the seed of the Word of God on mass in the city.

I believe that what God showed me is a strategy of pre-evangelism and evangelism through saturation of an entire city with the Word of God continuously, 24/7. The results are promised in the Word of God. We have already seen this happening at some extend through the TV channel.

Hope this is helpful.

God bless you,

Marilena
