The Gospel is all about bringing God and people together. If Christian people have any real understanding of the way the world works, they know that PRAYER is vitally IMPORTANT and United Prayer of Christians together is EVEN MORE IMPORTANT.
This is a rather undeveloped section of the site, but there are plenty of resources which touch on this subject but don’t treat it as if for pastors.

Dear friends in Christ,
I had it on my heart to compile a list of New Testament prayers because I felt that it would be very useful to us as believers to pray for the things that apostle Paul – and obviously God – thought it was important to pray for. This way we are praying according to the will of God and according to the mind of Christ.
This folks is a reality now. We talked about it coming back in 2007 and now its here. Nothing takes God by surprise. We really need to pray because this is a chance for people to consider the Lord Jesus Christ before the REAL CRISIS of the final judgment of God comes.
Lord, fill us with your Spirit just like you want us to be! (Ephesians 5:18)
Lord, bless us with hunger and thirst for righteousness, and fill us (Matt. 5:6)
Grant us, O God, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. (Eph. 3:16-17)
Father, I pray that I let no corrupt word proceed out of my mouth, but only such a word as is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. (Eph. 4:29)
Father, I pray that I speak evil of no man. (Tit. 3:2)

I pray Lord that I be continually filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in my heart to you Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph.
Lord, you declare that false balances and unjust weights are an abomination to yourself. So, I solemnly commit to do business without cheating or deceiving others, or representing things to be other than the way they really are. I pray you will find delight in the way I do business, in Jesus’ name, Amen. (vs 1)
Lord, open my eyes to the value of lowliness, for “with the lowly is wisdom”. Give me this wisdom. At the same time, I reject the coming of pride, which brings shame. (vs 2)
(These prayers can easily be modified on the fly to be a prayer for a loved one or a group of people, as the need requires).
Lord, you declared that you came to proclaim recovery of sight to the blind. (Luke 4:18). Proclaim recovery of sight to MY (inner) eyes, the eyes of my heart!
You sent Paul your servant to “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” (Acts 26:18).
Thank you Lord that you do not let me wander from Your commandments.
