Change – a personal journey
As you establish your life with God in prayer and meditate upon His Word, you spirit will start to come alive, or be quickened to God’s Word. As you go about your day, His Word will come to your mind as you encounter different situations. I use these opportunities to pray the Word. In this way we become aligned with God and we start to think like God and talk like God.
Revival in a small coastal town in Australia
The following article is an account of a revival that was reported in Outreach Magazine when Pastor Peter Earle, the Principal of the School of Ministries led a bible college team to Yeppoon. (Editor’s note: It is true that this story is now 10 years old. Still it is very encouraging and can inspire us to believe for God to do such great things again in Australia.)
This book contains valuable wisdom from an experienced pastor associated with the Christian Outreach Centre movement in Australia who has been used by God to pioneer and pastor 5 or so churches over the last 34 years. You will learn principles of effective prayer for the people God has given you to pray for.
BOLDNESS
Ephesians 6:19,20 and for me, that
utterance may be given to me, that I may
Open my mouth boldly to make known
the mystery of the gospel
For which I am an ambassador in
chains; that in it I may speak boldly as I ought to speak
We calculated it, and did you know you could reach 100,000 homes with Cable Television in a certain South Asian country for around $25? That’s right, just TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. We are talking about “Prime Time” for 25 minutes or the equivalent of a prime time slot made up from multiple slots at other times.
Jesus said in John 4:35: “Do you not say, Four months more and then the harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! they are ripe for harvest.”
I did some research to see what did this saying mean in the Jewish culture and found the following. After they planted the seed, there was four months between the sowing time and harvest time.
Its my goal through this site to bring God and people together. Jesus did not say, "Study me", he said, "Follow me". This means following after His presence in prayer, and experiencing the miracles He will do in response to prayer. Christianity without answered prayer is a sham.
