The failure of many to receive divine healing over the years have given rise to a whole slew of traditional explanations for why we should not really expect divine healing to happen today. These objections are answered in this article.
Jesus as a soul-winner
For the Son of Man has come to seek and save that which was lost. (Lk 19:10)
He who says he abides in Him [in Jesus] ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1 Jn 2:6)

Teach me, Lord, in everything, by prayer and supplication to make my requests known to you. (Php 4:6).
O Lord, keep me from the sin of ceasing to pray for the people of God. (1 Samuel 12:23)
Help me Lord to not stop giving thanks to you for the people of God, making mention of them in my prayers. (Eph. 1:16; 1 Cor.
I listen to wisdom and will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. Pr 1.33
No harm or grave trouble befalls the righteous. I am righteous in Christ and no harm shall befall me. I avoid wicked thoughts, words and actions for the wicked have their fill of trouble. Pr 12.21
I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for the Lord alone makes me dwell in safety. Ps 4.8
The Lord is a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. Ps 3.3
God is my strong refuge, to which I may resort continually. Ps 71.3
God is my rock and my fortress.
Jesus bore my sicknesses and carried my pains, and with His stripes I am healed. Is 53.4 53.5
God has delivered me from the power of darkness and has conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom I have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. Col 1.13 1.14
In righteousness I shall be established. I shall be far from oppression, for I shall not fear.

Now thanks be to God who always leads me in triumph in Christ. 2Cor 2.14
For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, to destroy the works of the devil.

WE BELIEVE the Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit is an integral part of the General Assembly and Church of the First-born which are written in heaven – (Eph 1:22,23; 2:22; Heb 12:23).

This experience is also known as the new birth and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit whereupon the believing sinner is regenerated, justified, and adopted into the family of God and becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, (Titus 2;11; 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 5:1) and an heir of eternal life.

Introduction
We have seen that after the fall of Adam all men became sinners, law breakers and were under the righteous judgment of God. Yet God's plan was not destroyed at this point. God still wanted to be a good Father to us. But now it was necessary for us to be saved from the consequences of our rebellion against God.
