A real Christian would naturally be very interested in revival and awakening. In recent years, certain streams have begun in the Body of Christ which have had considerable influence in a short time. One thing is clear, intelligence alone is no defense against deception – no matter who is right. My personal view is that we should major on majors, and minor on minors.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15,16).
This is the commandment of Jesus. Ignore it at your peril.
Many ministers of the gospel start off well, with a genuine call of God. But somewhere along the line, Satan comes in with an offer, just as he did to Jesus.

Before Deliverance
For most of my life I have been very confused and did not know who I was, what I was and where I belonged. I was so hopeless to the point of suicide at times even after becoming a Christian. I always thought every one disliked me, was out to get me or didn’t care about me.

Family of Origin:
I came from a multi-generational high-level bloodline occult family. I was purposely conceived and birthed for mind control, torture and ritual purposes. My family’s background includes high level Masonic members and connections. I have three half sisters and one half brother. My mother and surrogate father were extreme alcoholics. Chaos was the norm. I was singled out as the scapegoat for abuse by all members of the family.

I have to tell you that although I am a born again Christian, I felt that there was still something missing in my life and I prayed for the Lord to show me what was wrong and I struggled to hang on. Then I started to read and listen to tapes about deliverance. It was sort of confusing, but then I believe the Lord led me to this site. I was looking to try to help my aunt who is having a hard time with her daughter. Suddenly, I saw myself in a lot of the areas that you talked about. I know that this site is anointed because of what has been happening to me since I found it.
Not everything relevant to the subject of deliverance and spiritual warfare is included on a site such as this. In my view some deliverance ministries are unbalanced and make extreme statements which are not totally true. The truth is extreme enough anyway without making universal statements with no clear foundation in Scripture. Anyway, here are the titles of some books and authors I can recommend on the subject of deliverance.
1. Christian, Set Yourself Free – by Graham Powell.
Unbelief is a spirit which causes people to reject what God says is true. The more we can get unbelief concerning God’s promises out of our own hearts, the more we will be effective in destroying it in those who do not yet believe. Unbelief binds the hand of God. It is one of the worst enemies to deal with.
“… for we are not ignorant of his devices.” (2 Corinthians 2:11)
Paul and his close co-workers made it their business not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices. This does not mean that Paul spent a lot of time researching all the dark secrets of Satan’s kingdom. No. Paul said to the Romans, “I want you to be wise in what is good, but simple (innocent) concerning evil. And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:19). Honestly, we don’t need to be “au fait” with all the latest conspiracy theories and what Satan may or may not be doing (Isaiah 8:12,13).
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Real Christians are involved in a spiritual conflict. This is a fight in which guns and tanks are of no use. Paul said, “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood”. The conflict is not with people, or nations, but with Satan and his demons. We need to recognise that many times when people oppose us, the reason behind it is spiritual.
