God’s Condemnation of Western Society

Western Society is now clearly embraces a mindset which the God of the Bible utterly condemns. At the time of writing, New York State has just “legalised” “gay marriage” – meaning that in the eyes of the law, homosexual relationships can now have the same description as committed heterosexual marriage relationships. Boys can now have two legal fathers I suppose. In the United Kingdom, Prime Minister David Cameron has recently condemned those who would disapprove of homosexual practices. He means Bible believing Christians. I’m sure he wouldn’t want to offend the muslims, who are taking over Britain at the present time. That religion incidentally condemns homosexuality, according to the research I’ve done on the internet about it. But that is another story.

In Australia, after years of media activism, the majority of the population has now come to accept homosexuality as a normal thing and would embrace the idea of “gay marriage” in a heartbeat. The noble Premier of Qld, Anna Bligh, has come out strongly for it. The opinion polls all show people now agree with it.
Romans 1:26-32 declares:

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

So by the principle of democracy, the rule of the people, these things are going to become law unless there is a reformation of virtually unthinkable proportions in Australia and other countries. Or unless they bring in Sharia law first.

The people of the west, brainwashed as they are by the secular humanist education system that there is no God, that they evolved from apes through the passing on of genes which were beneficial for the propagation of the race (obviously not homosexual genes), have embraced a philosophy which is hostile to the pure and holy God of the Bible.

Truly “the carnal mind is enmity with God” just as the Bible says in Romans 8:7.

Romans chapter 1 gives a list of sins that mankind falls into when they turn away from the knowledge of God. Right at the end of the list God condemns those who APPROVE the practices which God condemns. So, now, with the majority of Australians, Americans and Europeans approving the things God calls an abomination, we have a society which publicly opposes God.

Judgment is inevitable.

It is only a matter of time before the Scripture is fulfilled which Christ spoke to his disciples concerning the end times.

This is now getting closer.

I don’t personally have a problem with homosexual people as long as they don’t try to ram their philosophy down my throat or the throats of my children.  As long as they are not trying to rape men of God, as they did in the days of Lot, it doesn’t affect me so much. When they defile the minds of little children, they are going to get in deep trouble with God. I also believe that when an entire society thumbs its nose at the Living God and the integrity of the family unit which God ordained, nothing good will come of it. This is the place where western society finds itself today. It is a place ripe for judgment. I don’t need to be a prophet to see economic and natural disasters coming to the nations. It has already begun in fact.

As Christians, we have to understand what the Lord wants us to do. I am not a post-millenialist or a dominionist. I don’t believe God will have us take over society in the present age.

At the present time, I am more concerned for evangelism (lost people) and the health of the church of God.

If homosexual offenders will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven as the Bible says (1 Corinthians 6:9,10), then at some point they are going to have to know that. To me the Scriptures are clear: God requires change towards holiness for those who wish to enter His kingdom. As it is, homosexual activists are working wherever they can to get the official doctrines of the churches to change on this issue. Change is happening in the wrong direction. The homosexuals have met with outstanding success in the modern apostate churches of the western world, and I see the trend continuing.

I don’t want to harp on this issue a lot, we have got to major on presenting Christ to people (as He truly is). But if we never confront the issue, because we are afraid of hate speech laws or losing money or property, then we may well end up selling out to the spirit of the age. There is a spiritual warfare going on for the soul of the church itself. Christianity will most likely end up as an illegal underground movement in the last days, as it has been so often and in so many places throughout the world.

I have to state that I am utterly opposed to any kind of violence against homosexual people. We can leave the execution of judgment to God. I believe we should treat all people with kindness and respect.  But it doesn’t mean I should not speak out against what I believe to be wrong. I believe lying is wrong, stealing is wrong, adultery is wrong and murder is wrong. I also believe that homosexual practices are wrong. Just because I think that lying is wrong, doesn’t mean I am inciting people to bash up liars. I want to treat all sinners with respect. I am a sinner who found cleansing with Christ. But I am going to speak out against all these things as the occasion demands it. There IS grace, mercy and forgiveness for those who desire to receive it through Christ. But when someone says: “I have done nothing wrong”, they are not yet in the place where they can receive mercy and forgiveness from God. That is the danger of the present trend.

That is why the truly loving thing is not to back down on this issue. Only those who don’t care if these people go to hell would back down on the issue.
