Door to Door Evangelism Experience

The first door I knocked at I met a young man named William, an apprentice electrician and would-be actor. He went through the survey with me and allowed me to tell him the gospel.

He told me that his mother was Roman Catholic and his father a muslim, so basically he was a muslim.

He was interested to see healings I’d been involved in with Jesus healing people, so I showed him one on my phone. He started to get interested.

Then he told me he knew the spiritual world was real because he had played with Ouija boards, done astral projection and had many other experiences.

He listened to me when I explained that he had trespassed into the devil’s spiritual world. I told him that he would be experiencing many creepy fearful things and he confirmed this.

Then he allowed me to pull up a video of a leading New Ager who became a born again Christian through encountering Christ. He watched the whole thing through.

Then he agreed to install the Youversion Bible app on his phone and wanted to start reading the Bible.

He told me when I can meet him again. He seemed really open, but said he couldn’t see himself following something he didn’t believe in 100%. But he is actually willing to keep looking at the subject. Praise God!

For me, this was a proof that God is directing me at times, and also proof that I don’t actually need an evangelistic partner in order to knock on doors.

Some of you may know its very hard to find such people who are willing though there are a few in my church.

Please pray for William. I will. I believe it was a divine appointment and God has a plan.
