Consecration to Wait On the Lord

Please see this article about waiting on the Lord. You can use these prayers/confessions/declarations to consecrate yourself to the practice of waiting on the Lord – investing time patiently to allow Him to lead. Hoping in what HE will do rather than what you will do.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. (Psalm 130:5)

I will stand my watch
And set myself on the rampart,
And watch to see what He will say to me,
And what I will answer when I am corrected. (Habakkuk 2:1)

And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. (Psalm 39:7)

I wait on the Lord and the strength in me shall be renewed; for God is becoming and is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Isaiah 40:31; Psalm 73:26).

Those that wait for God shall not be ashamed.  (Isaiah 49:23). I wait for God and shall not be ashamed or disappointed because of this waiting.

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. (Psalm 25:5)

I wait  on the LORD: I choose to be of good courage, and he shall strengthen my heart (Psalm 27:14)

I wait on  the LORD, and he shall save me (Proverbs 20:22)

I have waited  for him, and I will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. (Isaiah 25:9)

I wait on the Lord and I shall inherit the earth. (Psalm 37:9)

I wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He shall exalt me to inherit the land;
When the wicked are cut off, I shall see it. (Psalm 37:34)

And I will wait upon the LORD, that hides his face, and I will look for him. (Isaiah 8:17)
