Spiritual Growth

I continue to behold as in a mirror with unveiled face the glory of the Lord and am constantly being transformed into His very own image in ever-increasing splendour and from one degree of glory to another. 2Cor 3.18

God has shone in my heart the light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. 2Cor 4.6

I always carry about in my body the dying of the Lord Jesus, so that the resurrection life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in my body. 2Cor 4.10

I do not become discouraged – utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear. No matter what is happening to the outward man, my inner self is being progressively renewed day after day.

For my light, momentary affliction is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for me an everlasting weight of glory – beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendant glory and blessedness never to cease! All this since I consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporary (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting. 2Cor 4.16-4.18

I grow in grace and in the knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ.

I cleanse myself from everything that contaminates and defiles body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for Christ. 2Cor 7.1

I am the temple of God. 2Cor 6.17

God comforts and encourages and refreshes and cheers the depressed and the sinking. ( 2 Cor. 7:6)

Out of the rich treasury of God’s glory He grants me to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit indwelling my innermost being and personality. (Eph. 3:16)
