Confessions of What I Do

I do the will of my Father in Heaven. # Mt 7.21

I enter the rest of God and cease from my own human labours. # Heb 4.10

We must work the works of Him who sent us, and be busy with His business while it is daylight; night is coming on when no man can work. # Jn 9.4

From time to time people will insult me and things will go wrong. I will remain calm, however. I will not get annoyed and in any case I will not reveal annoyance. Rather I will have the prudence to overlook insults. # Pr 12.16

Confessions Relating to Life’s Hassles and my Overcoming Them

Whenever I am afraid I will trust in the Lord.

I seek the Lord, and he hears me, and delivers me from all of my fears.

I humble myself and seek the LORD first, so that I enjoy the fellowship of the Holy Spirit before seeking to resolve any problems. # 2 Cor 13.14

God is with me wherever I go.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. # Php 4.13

I do everything without complaining or arguing, so that I may become blameless and pure, a child of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which I shine like a star in the universe as I hold out the Word of Life. # Php 2.14 2.15
