Ministrying God’s Power for the Glory of God
Its not just enough to do it at the level of my personal convenience! I must be ministering in God’s power faithfully with the gift to the best of the ability which God gives me.
Always, in every encounter, people must see the love of Jesus in me.
I must be passionately motivated by the glory and honour of God.
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31)
If I lay hands on the sick, I must do it for the glory of God. I should do all I can to see that the results of such ministry are glorifying to GOD. The people should know that God touched them.
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of hands of the presbytery. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. (1 Tim. 4:14,15)
And these signs will follow those believing these things: in my name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues … they will lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).
The demon must come out for the glory of God. The disease must go. Whatever it takes in prayer and fasting, faith development, love or sacrifice (Mark 9:19,29).
