In fact this calendar was used in Romania, but you have our permission to adapt it and use it for your own country or city.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble
themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked
ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin
and heal their land."
(2 Chronicles 7:14)
Notes for the Use of this Calendar – the Strategy
"Now
God is a good God. He wants you to experience that. All you need to do is trust Him. Trust Him enough to listen to Him and go His way.
He sent his Son Jesus to die on a cross and pay for your sins. If He did that for you He'd give you any good thing!
The difference between what our Christianity ought to be and what it actually is in our day comes down to a lack of prayer and fasting. We plan to do something about that. See my challenge at the end of this article.
Fasting for Personal Freedom
This lesson’s focus is to define and illustrate the fear of the LORD. Our late 20th century culture has confused beliefs about “fear”.
God’s Attitude towards lost people
Read the story of the lost son in Luke 15:11-32.. The context of this story is found in Luke 15:1,2. “Then all the tax
collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees
and scribes complained, saying, ‘This Man receives sinners and eats
with them.‘ ” . In response to this criticism, Jesus tells three stories
which all reveal something of God’s great love for lost people,
and His great joy when they return to Him.
By Church politics I mean the way church leaders relate to one another
and to others in exercising authority and determining the way things will
be done in church life. The term “church politics” often has a negative
connotation – however I am using the term in a broader sense. The policies
and ways of church leadership may be godly or they may be ungodly. The
way leadership is exercised is tremendously important to the Lord, so for
this reason I believe it is worth writing about this and opening up the
subject.
Church – What is it and who is true?
Jesus said he would build His church, and the gates of hell would not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). The true church is built on the revelation and acknowledgment that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus Himself is the foundation for the church. Paul the apostle was one of those through whom Christ built His church. In speaking about the church and the building of it, Paul said, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Christ Jesus” (1 Corinthians 3:12).
“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” (1 Corinthians 2:2)
“But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world” (Galatians 6:14)
“Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.” (Romans 6:4)
Let us learn from the Prophet Samuel, one of the heroes of faith in the eleventh chapter of Hebrews. Samuel had to pray the “Prayer of Faith” for Israel as they were spiritually backslidden for about twenty years, and they were in bondage and living in fear of the Philistines. So it was that the ark remained in Kirjath Jearim a long time; it was there twenty years. And the house of Israel lamented after the LORD (1 Samuel 7:2). When Israel longed for God and His blessings, the Prophet Samuel urged the Israelites to get rid of their foreign gods. He called them together and prayed for them.
