Satan’s desire is to lead the whole world astray!

Satan’s desire is to lead the whole world astray!
Don’t let Satan lead you but be led by Spirit of God
(Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.)

You must be sensitive to the power of the Holy Spirit. Learn to listen to the wooing and the correction of the Holy Spirit. You will learn to recognize His soft voice so He can speak to you daily directing you on the pathway of righteousness. We must listen to Holy Spirit or we will fall prey to the misleading voice of satan.

Satan’s desire is to lead the whole world astray! What a staggering statement! The enemy is out to lead every one of us astray. You, me, and the whole world if he could. How? One of Satan’s strongest weapons against people is “deception.” Satan is the deceiver and father of all lies. The evil one is out to deceive the entire world, including your spouse, children, and those you love. He wants to lead as many people as he can astray just like he did the 1/3 of the Angelic host. This 1/3 are now fallen angels or demons and do the bidding of satan.

“And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” Revelation 12:7-

Satan’s plan for the church and family is to discourage, deceive, divide and destroy. Satan wants to steal, kill and destroy every person, marriage, every family and every church. Make no room for his lies and resist him and he will flee. God will not let him pressure you forever. Just keep resisting and he will flee. James 4:7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The questions we must ask is are we letting satan’s power of darkness grow in our hearts and minds? Remember Jesus’ Words, Matthew 6:
22“Your eye is a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is good, your whole body is filled with light. 23But when your eye is bad, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!

The greatest weapon that he used with Eve in the Garden, and he is still using is “deception.” Satan deceives men and women around the world everyday doing and saying things that are not Christ-like.

“But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:3

Satan is a deceiver. He will lead us into sin but he doesn’t tell us that every sinful act must eventually be punished. Yes sin does bring temporary pleasure or profit but at what cost are you willing pay for that pleasure? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul? At times it can seem like we are getting away from God’s mighty hand of justice. But never forget, God is a just God. He is not mocked, whatever a person sows that shall they also reap. His justice may at times be slow but it always comes. Wouldn’t it be great if we were wise enough to get off the wrong path before we go too far, sink too deep, stay too long and pay way too much? Oh Yes it would! Sadly though many people will not turn from their sin until their lives become too painful to tolerate the sins that once bound them.

A sign that we are living in the Last of the “Last Days” is that many Christians that were at once faithful have gone astray and back-sliding. Many Christians are living double lives with reckless abandon. What does the Bible say about these times:
(1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.)

Paul tells us that in the “latter times” Christians will abandon their faith and sound doctrine and gather around teachers who will tell them what they want to hear. He goes on to describe people who have a form of godliness but no substance, no power. The results of falling away or back sliding are; having a loss of power, loss of peace, loss of joy, loss of clear direction, a loss of control/feeling unstable, lying constantly, can’t regularly attend Church(teaching sound doctrine), a loss of the assurance of God’s presence, a loss of faith and if Christians are not careful and turn back before it’s too late, they can eventually loose their salvation. Don’t think so? What does God’s Word say?

Hebrews 6 4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6 if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

2 Peter 2 20And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before. 21It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. 22They prove the truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.”g And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”

God is so merciful and patient that many take His kindness as weakness and they refuse to turn from their sin. They say to themselves, I will serve you with all my heart one day Lord, just one more party Jesus, just one more night of passion, Jesus will understand, God will forgive me and for many the time of true repentance never comes. God will chastise us, correct us and draw us to him for a season but if the back-slider or sinner refuses Him too long, He will turn them over to do what they want. We all have an allotted time to get right with God. Don’t role the dice on your eternal destiny. Time and death know no mercy!
To everything there is a season and a time under Heaven.

Romans 1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another
Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,

Many that have already gone astray believing satan’s lies, don’t think that Jesus wants us to live Holy and Godly lives. They will go out of their way to lead others astray and into a ditch. Jesus clearly says in Matthew 24:
48But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’ 49and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk? 50The master will return unannounced and unexpected, 51and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

That is so straight forward and plain that anyone with Holy Spirit’s voice still in their ears can hear clearly what Jesus is saying to the World. He wants us to live Holy Lives and be ready when He comes for us.
(1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.)

Is there hope? YES! Jesus wants us to now live whole-hearted for Him and repent today. This is your Day!

Getting free from satan’s claw(strong hold) of sin is fight and it takes patient endurance. However it has been done by people like me and many others. It takes a made up mind and discipline but people get free form satan’s lies and deceit everyday.

Keep these 5 steps below near you to help you win the Good Fight of Faith and stand firm on God’s Word.

1. Repent: Say this out loud, Lord I repent of my sins! I welcome Jesus into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Clean me and make me whole. Jesus you are God’s only begotten Son that He raised form dead. Jesus, my Lord and Savior, I want to ready when you come. Save me, keep me and teach me Lord!

2 Have a regular time of reading the Bible everyday. Read at home, work, school or play.

3. Develop a time of pray and have others continually pray you. Don’t hide your faults, Confess them!

4. Listen to the prompting’s of the Holy Spirit. We are exhorted “to grieve not the Holy Spirit” (Hardness of heart develops by not listening to God’s correction.

5. Do not forsake the company of other Christians (Hebrews 10:25). This is vital! We cannot have fellowship with God in isolation from other fellow Christians. Ask them to help keep you accountable.
