Viral Prayer Network

The LORD God has put it on my heart to invite people on this site to participate in a "viral prayer network". The vision is to get small groups of 3-4 people to PRAY together online for themselves and their ministries and various prayer causes. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in TWO such groups three times a week each for a minimum of 15 minutes each. The second group will be a group that person will eventually start themselves.

There is nothing we can do that is as important as together truly connecting with God in heartfelt prayer. Jesus said, "Men ought always to pray and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1). Paul instructed us to "Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it
with thanksgiving". Jesus said: "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

Folks, I believe it. Nothing is impossible, but we must do God's will here.

Would you like to be involved?

You can begin by being part of one group for 15 minutes 3 times a week, but the vision is that everyone will find a way to invite 2 or 3 other people to pray with them online in a SECOND online prayer group. Its a kind of multi-level, viral prayer strategy. There won't be any money involved in this, the only purpose is to get a multiplying movement of people praying and reaching out to God together for certain things.

We will use skype or equivalent technology to do this online. In case you were not aware, the Holy Spirit has no problem moving over the internet. Lots of people get filled with the Holy Spirit, saved, delivered and healed through online audio chat ministry.

UPDATE: 30 Jan 2010 - there are now six groups in action, with new groups being planned. This is not a hierarchy we are trying to build. You are not coming "under" anyone by joining this. You WILL be encouraged to lead other people into this kind of prayer though.

I am hungering for more people to pray with who want to see the power and glory of God in our generation!!
