Who is the real bride then? Some say the Church is the bride of Christ. Other says that we (the believers) are the living bride of Christ, and He as the bridegroom will come to take us, yet another say that New Jerusalem is the bride of Christ, which is already in Heaven. In addition to that Saints are at the wedding supper of Christ. Biblically, saints had always been referred to the True Believers of Christ which implies to us.

If we believers are the Bride of Christ then why do we pray to Him, calling 'Our Father in Heaven’? How can a father and a bridegroom be the same person? Bride means wife so why do we think that God will marry Church, if it is material Church then still it holds no meaning and if you tell we are the living Church, than also it doesn't apply as I had stated earlier. Well God created human to have fellowship with us, then why do you think God will marry New Jerusalem, as New Jerusalem is shown as a land. How can God marry land and it materials?
